What does TPW mean for Corvette?
A Target Production Week (TPW) date should be available soon. 3400 – Broadcast: At this point, parts are being pulled for your car prior to the start of production. A TPW and partial VIN should be available now. 3800 – PRODUCED: Your Corvette has been built!
How many hours does it take to build a Corvette?
The first line-built C8 was built sometime around the fall of 2018 and took approximately 750 total man-hours. By the end of August 2019, the line-built cars were being assembled in 189 total man-hours.
What does 4B00 mean?
4B00, often wrongly referred to as 4800, means that the car has completed assembly (and any QC checks) and awaiting transportation in the huge lot outside the assembly plant. Time in 4B00 has a lot to do with transportation logistics.
