How do I keep my pulley from turning?
At the end of each side of the U is a pin, and a pulley has a hole on either side of it's main nut, so when you put this thing on the pulley, you can hold it to stop it turning while you loosed or tighten the main axle nut of the pulley.
How do you tighten a pulley?
Turn the adjustment bolt on the side, top or bottom of the pulley counterclockwise with the ratchet and socket until the accessory belt is loose enough to remove. Tighten the tensioner pulley by turning the adjustment bolt clockwise with the ratchet and socket until the belt is tight.
How do you hold a flywheel when torquing?
Place a pry bar, pipe, or some other piece of metal between the bolt head and the ground. Turn the flywheel in the direction of engine rotation until it makes contact with your prop, and torque away!
