Do you pay for low emission zone?
We prefer that your vehicle meets the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) standards so you don't have to pay the charge. If you do need to pay, charging days run from midnight to midnight, every day of the year. You can pay for up to three previous days, today or any day up to 90 days in the future.
Can I pay ULEZ at petrol station?
You can't pay the Congestion Charge in shops and petrol stations.
How much is a low emission zone charge?
You can pay by midnight on the third day following the journey or up to 90 days in advance. The daily charge is: £12.50 for cars, smaller vans, motorbikes and other lighter vehicles.

Where is the congestion charge zone 2021?
The ULEZ initially covered the same central area as London's Congestion Charge zone but has now been expanded to cover all parts of the city within the North and South Circular roads. It takes in all parts of the city from Haringey in the north and Southwark in the south to Newham in the east and Ealing in the west.

On 25 October 2021, the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) expanded from central London up to (but not including) the North Circular and South Circular roads. The new zone is 18 times the size of the central London zone and now covers 3.8 million people.
Does the low emission zone affect cars?
A daily charge runs from midnight to midnight. If you drive within the ULEZ area across two days, for example before midnight and after midnight, you will have to pay two daily charges. These are in addition to any Congestion Charge that applies. (Cars and motorcycles are not subject to the Low Emission Zone (LEZ).)
